Where cancer advocacy meets beauty.
Where cancer advocacy meets beauty.
My name is Patricia Fox, and I am a professional makeup artist. As a breast cancer survivor. I have also made it my mission is to promote cancer awareness and inspire survivors diagnosed under 40 through beauty and wellness programs.
Over the past decade, I have worked fashion shows, photoshoots, and media makeup for music videos and stage plays, including Tony nominated musical "The Hippest Trip", Alandon music video "1980" and Jimmy Dennis music video "You Said".
My credibility in the beauty space includes makeup artist, being a part of Sephora Squad - a national beauty ambassador program and as a beauty commerce writer reviewing trends and best beauty products. I have also shared my beauty expertise along the way, with both renowned and grassroots organizations, including Sephora, Susan G Komen, Tigerlily Foundation, For The Breast Of Us, and Young Survival Coalition–to name a few. In addition to offering makeup services to the everyday beauty, I offer complimentary beauty services for patients and survivors to meet their new normals. To learn more click, here!
To me, beauty is wellness. I am a firm believer that beauty isn't just what we are, but who we are. A part of what I envisioned after conquering cancer was to share life-enriching practices that support individuals to see themselves in a more beautiful and capable light. Having facilitated mindfulness workshops with my book, Declarations by Patricia Fox, and being recognized for intersecting advocacy and beauty by Better Homes & Gardens, I also offer wellness seminars that promote self-love and empower individuals to transform their lives.
BeYOUtiful, is a 501c3 non-profit initiative I co-founded with Sue King, creator of Sephora’s award-winning Classes for Confidence program. Sue's initiative has transformed more than 130,000 lives through hands-on and virtual beauty experiences. Throughout my career with Sephora, I had the honor to facilitate these classes with her.
Today, our mission is to support individuals facing life challenges through positive and uplifting beauty and wellness classes, provided free of charge to participants. Together, we leverage our professional and personal experiences in offering holistic sessions that address skincare issues, hair loss, and other cosmetic concerns.
Collectively, we have forged 500+ partnerships with support groups and networks serving cancer patients, women who are survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking, formerly homeless and military veterans, as well as members of the Transgender community. Currently, we are coordinating upcoming projects MD Anderson Cancer Center to serve the needs of patients under 40.
